This two day sustainable wedding floristry Masterclass is back by popular demand.

This course is suited to those with some floristry experience. If you are a beginner, we suggest you complete a 1:1 day first so that you won't be left behind.

On day 1 at Floribunda Rose studio we'll demonstrate, and you'll then make table centres and bouquets. On day two we will install a large scale installation at 'Our Beautiful Glasshouse', a venue near Chiddingfold.

Sarah Diligent of Floribunda Rose and Liz Inigo Jones of Blue Sky Flowers have a wealth of experience in designing and executing wedding floristry for luxury weddings. 

This Masterclass takes place over two days, and runs on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th August. Places are available to buy now and will sell out fast (we had a waiting list last time we offered this course).


Course Outline


Day one

10am - 4:30pm
 
A.M. This morning will begin with a demonstration of how to create beautiful table arrangements using chicken wire and kenzan in a bowl. We will talk you through pricing and transporting your table arrangements, then you’ll choose from beautiful British blooms and create your own with our guidance.
 
P.M. Sarah and Liz will show you how they create wild and naturally abundant bouquets two ways, with chicken wire armatures and hand tied. They’ll talk you through costings and presentation and then you will have the opportunity to create your own.

You will choose from a selection of beautifully hand dyed silk ribbons to finish your bouquet with, so that it’s fully dressed and ready to be photographed for your portfolio.
 

Day two

10am - 4:30pm
 
A.M. Sarah and Liz will start the morning talking about structures themselves, discussing Chuppahs, Mandaps and Arches. They will then talk you through suitable materials, costings, fixing points, labour, timeframes, what must have items go into our kit bags, transportation, safety and insurance.
 
Liz and Sarah will demonstrate how to set up on site and talk you through the process.
 
P.M. You will work together with Sarah and Liz to create an abundant floral installation and our photographer will capture your work, and you working, so that you can show that you are comfortable and confident creating large, flowerful, wildly abundant wedding installations.
The final practical element is taking everything down together and packing up. Knowing how the logistics of taking down large structures works is important, and by doing this together you’ll feel comfortable and confident when it comes to doing this next time.
At the end of our two day masterclass we'll have a Q&A to get to the bottom of any final questions you may have.
 
 
Our last day will end with cake and bubbly!



The Details

This price includes use of all equipment, flowers, foliage, lunch and refreshments, the vessels you use, and all the flowers that you create as well as professional photographs. 
 

We encourage you to bring your camera or phone to document your work throughout the course, we will make sure that there is time to take photographs, ask questions and jot notes down as we go.
