It’s with great excitement that I’m sharing all the pretty and all the news with you about my brand new Floral Design Studio in Eversley in Hampshire!
I can’t wait to welcome you in – whether it’s for a wedding floral consultation or for a floristry class.
As hopefully you already know, I pride myself on using the most beautiful seasonal flowers and foliages of each season and this will be no different for our classes. I’ll be teaching using floral foam free methods, in chicken wire, just tubes and using moss and can’t wait to get cracking with our first classes really soon.
This little business of mine has gone from strength to strength since I first launched in 2014 and I can’t tell you how thrilled I was to throw a launch party to celebrate this exciting move!
There were flowers, friends and florists aplenty and lots of our suppliers and growers also came along to wish us well and celebrate how far this little business has come – from kitchen table, to converted garage to a space that really reflects what we do and is a real joy to spend time in.
There was bubbly from Hambledon Vineyard (where we are now recommended suppliers) and delicious cake thanks to Amanda Reilly. My dear friend Sundari – The Wedding Stylist came along to help us make sure that everything was styled to perfection and the lovely Gyan Gurung captured the day beautifully for us.
Beautiful scented British flowers were generously provided by The Real Flower co as well as Buckets of Blooms and LittlePark Flowers, Tregothnan and PlantPassion and lilac was foraged from the estate thanks to our very kind and generous Landlord and Farm owners Marc & Ron.
Using local suppliers and being as eco friendly as possible are hugely important to me, I think that the word is spreading about British flowers and that people are becoming interested in doing things as eco friendly a way as possible.
I’m really hoping that this studio will inspire people to give floristry a go who have never tried it, and talented florists who have never worked using our techniques will also come and be inspired to work a little greener and that Floribunda Rose floral design studio will become a new hub of floral inspiration in Hampshire.
